This is the view I woke up to from the comfort of my makeshift swag in the dirt. I took a moment to enjoy it and then rolled over and went back to sleep. It's views like this - and waking up surrounded by nature - that makes the Kimberley pretty special. I made a point of getting up early the following morning at first light to capture the moment and enjoy a coffee as the sun rose over the King Edward River. These are the moments that make it all worthwhile.
