Some new neighbours to keep me company - 3 happy, healthy and curious dingoes. Got a snap of one a few days go.
Dingoes are believed to have been introduced to the north of Australia by asian fishermen, probably from Sulawesi, somewhere between 5000 and 12,000 years ago. The local indigenous name here on the Mitchell Plateau for the dingo is orrolu.
