The mighty Mitchell Falls/Punamii-Uunpuu at sunset. Simply spectacular. You can see why I've been having trouble getting across the river. This is a sneak peek at some footage I've been shooting to share with Wunambal Gaambera Aboriginal Corporation & DBCA.
It's worth remembering 2019 was the first year the falls stopped flowing that most people can remember. This is what is looked like in early December when it started flowing again and in early January after some decent rain. What a contrast.

The Gibb River Road & Kalumburu Road are now officially closed. The National Park is also closed and the gates are locked until May of 2020.
